4 Days from Marrakech to Fez via Erg Chebbi Sahara Dunes
Day 1: Marrakech – Ouarzazate
4 Days Marrakech Camel Sahara tour will start at 8 O’clock in the morning, by driving you, in the first place, from your hotel toward the high Atlas mountains, and the Tichka pass. In the second place,there will be a visit to three famous Kasbahs in Morocco. First, Talouet Kasbah which was belonged to the Glaoui family, the wealthiest of the Atlas, it is now completely ruined after the last Pasha fled the country following the departure of the French. Second, the famous Kasbah in Morocco, “Ait Ben Haddou” , not only it is a setting for many Hollywood blackbusters, but also a Unesco World Heritage site. Third, “Tifoultoute” Kasbah, which also used as a setting for several well-known films . We will spend a night and have dinner in a riad, in our arrival to Ouarzazate.
2nd day: Ouarzazate – Todra Gorges
The second day of 4 Days Marrakech Camel Sahara tour, will start after having breakfast, toward Todra Gorges to stay the night, passing by Skoura Oasis,where numerous ancient kasbahs are badly ruined, The valley of roses at Kelaat M’gouna, famous for its festival of roses in May, and much considered locally made cosmetic products.Then, we will pass an off-road route, to admire the place, and stop at a cave of a nomad Berber family, to experience their hostility and kindness,and continue to Dades Gorge for lunch, “Dades valley” to see monkey finger and the Gorge, these views are spectacular, with different types of interesting, and unusual geological formations, along with the Dades river, plantations, and Berber villages. We will cross the end of the Gorge, which is characterized by a deep dramatic canyon, and continue a short distance to Tinghir, until Todra Gorges. Overnight at Todra Gorges.
Day 3: Todra Gorges – Merzouga
In the third day of 4 Days Marrakech Camel Sahara tour, there is a short walk after breakfast, to admire the beauty of the Gorges, where you can clearly admire the finest expanse of the sky above.From there, to Chebbi dunes, Tinjdad, the Oasis of Tafilalet near Erfoud( famous for the Date Festival), and Rissani( the seat of the Alaoui family of the current king of Morocco).In addition, you can stop Between Tinjdad and Erfoud, to go down into the fascinating underground water channels deep below the earth,it is always refreshing to prevent being evaporated, and in Erfoud, to see the working of fossils made into all sorts of artifacts. Lunch will be in a Berber village, we will stay the night at the camp, you will be welcomed with a cup of tea before taking a camel ride to enjoy the sunset on the peak of the dunes.
Day 4: Merzouga – Fez
In our last day of the tour, and after taking breakfast, there will be a stop to see how locally founded Erfoud fossils are used to be furniture and artifacts. Then,toward the north to Er Rachidia and the Ziz Valley, which is remarkable for the extent of its palm trees. Lunch will be at The apple capital of Morocco, “Midelt”, which is situated in the Middle the Atlas and at the foot of the Ayachi Mountain. Moreover, we will pass by the Tizi-N-Talghemt mountain to reach Azrou, where you will see Barbary apes in the cedar forests searching for tidbits. Whereas reaching Fez at the end of 4 Days Marrakech Camel Sahara tour.
